Munder Shuhumi
Munder Shuhumi is a member of the ICON Advisory Board and the Founder and Managing Partner of Pearls Capital, an investment firm specialising in alternative asset management, fintech solutions, and innovative financial technologies. With over two decades of senior leadership experience in hedge funds, asset management, and investment banking, Munder has held senior executive positions at renowned global financial institutions, including Goldman Sachs, Man Group, Aspect Capital, Pictet, Schroders, Fidelity, and the Public Investment Fund (PIF).

His extensive expertise covers a wide array of sophisticated hedge fund strategies, including quantitative investing, systematic trading, global macro, risk management, and institutional portfolio construction. Munder’s deep knowledge of capital markets and alternative investment strategies, combined with his broad professional network across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), Europe, and the US, positions him to effectively advise on strategic portfolio decisions and market trends.

Munder holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Medical Engineering, a Postgraduate Certificate in Biomedical Engineering, and a Master’s degree (MSc) in Data Science. His multidisciplinary academic background further strengthens his analytical and quantitative approach to investment and risk management.
Alex Jonesco
Mr. Alex Jonesco, MA HSG / MBA, is a highly versatile Swiss business professional with experience across sectors such as finance, insurance, telecom, energy and real estate, with a focus on hotel property investment and development.
Alex has been senior management at companies such as Banco Comercial Transatlantico (now Deutsche Bank), Union Reinsurance Company, (now Swiss Re) and on the Boards of various other companies such as Energymixx AG, which is active in the renewable energy sector. His versatility and knowledge of six languages provides him insight into varied business cultures across the world. Alex holds a Master’s degree in Macroeconomics from the University of St. Gallen. Presently Alex also serves as an independent business consultant to various companies and family offices in the areas of business development, Wealth Management, MA and TA.
Imtiaz Hussain

Imtiaz Hussain is an accomplished leader with over three decades of experience across investment banking, asset management, and wealth management at leading global institutions including Citibank, Barclays, and St. James’s Place. Throughout his career, he has successfully navigated complex market cycles, deploying capital across global markets, diverse capital structures, and the full risk/reward spectrum.
His expertise lies in sourcing high-quality opportunities, executing strategic investments, and delivering sustainable, long-term value for investors. He holds a Bachelor’s degree and an MBA from Western International University, Phoenix, Arizona.
Imtiaz is also the CEO of the UK-GCC Private Capital Alliance, a strategic platform for SWFs, Private Equity, VCs, FOs, Global Institutional Investors, and high-growth enterprises. Drawing on decades of trusted relationships across the private capital landscape, he is dedicated to building transformative partnerships and connecting capital with opportunity—driving sustainable growth and shaping the future of the global investment ecosystem.
